$1.035 Million Settlement - Products Liability  
A thirty-seven-year-old woman was helping operate a punch-press when the 300-ton machine crushed her hands.  A products liability lawsuit was filed alleging the machine was unreasonably dangerous and defective in its design because the main operator console did not provide an adequate indictation to the co-operator of the operative status of the rear station.  A $1.035 million dollar settlement was reached prior to trial.
