Competing Telecommunications Company Held in Contempt
Albert Watkins was retained by a national telecommunications company to enforce non-compete and non-solicitation agreeements executed by former executives prior to their departure from the company to start a competing operation.
Following protracted litigation and trial, the agreements containing the restrictive covenants were fully enforced; the former executives were found to have violated them, and subsequently were held in contempt for violating a court order enforcing the restrictive covenants.
